On 27/1 I purchased a license key and received the key details. I pasted it in and all seemed to be ok. However I now am getting an error message "Could not move (whatever program): 0x800704C7 - Your evaluation period has expired!". I thought I might need to reinstall Windowzones but, on selecting "remove" in "add and remove" window, I am asked for user name and password and then get the same error message re expired trial period.
The program is working, in that my programs are still in zones but I can't access the program as administrator.
I apologize for the delay. Something was wrong with our forum and we didn't realize it until you emailed us. Can you check if the process "explorer.exe" is being run in the Safe Zone? (not to be confused with the similar "iexplore.exe")
If "explorer.exe" is being run in the Safe Zone, that might cause this problem you are experiencing. If this is true, please remove any rule that is moving the process "explorer.exe" to the Safe Zone by default and also manually move any instances of "explorer.exe" into the Admin Zone.
(There may be an additional problem, which appears to be "an error with the error message" that we need to look at as well.).
