I recently installed the latest version of Avant Browser v11.5 Build 16, and the WindowsZones Button does not appear in the upper right despite the fact that WZ status screen indicates that the program IS in fact running in the Safe Zone.
I tried re-checking the default options, and re-editing and then deleting the rule to run Avant in the Safe Zone but still the WindowsZones Button does not appear.
On regular IE7 the button appears. Any ideas or suggestions?
I believe my support team has responded to your email, but I apologize for the delay on the forum. From our investigations it appears the Avant browser uses a custom title bar. When that happens, we have to special case the application in order to paint our padlock on it. I have logged a bug on this app and we will fix it in a future version.
That said, the icon is just a visual indicator of the applicaiton's status. If you go to the Programs tab and Avant is listed in the Safe Zone, then it is indeed in the Safe Zone.
