As you might have seen, WindowZones supports three different view modes:
1) Applications only - You often see multiple icons for the same process (such as three Internet Explorer icons), but processes without top-level windows aren't listed. If you drag one of the icons that belong to a process, the others also get moved at the same time
2) Process View - You see exactly one icon per process. If you have three IE windows but they're all in the same process, you see only one IE icon. You also see processes that do not have top level windows.
3) Both - A hybrid that shows both in a tree-like fashion
Our question to you, as the users, is which should be the default when a user first installs and runs WindowZones? Which makes the most sense to you?
Personally, I like the ability to see everything first and then, if for some reason I want to narrow it down, I can. To me, viruses, spyware, malware, etc., run as processes instead of applications. Heck, now it is even becoming more common for them to register themselves as a service or incorporate/attach themselves with normal system services. So instead of me just going on and on, I'll say that I would rather software show me all of my options first while allowing me the option/ability to filter the information if I need to.
